How Can I get started?
Schedule an online appointment with a member of our staff who will explain to you how our methodology combines self-paced and practical sessions with native instructors. Likewise, during this session, you will have the opportunity to be assessed in order to be placed in the correct class level.
How does OH Spanish maintain the quality of its classes?
We perform class observations, with student approval, to monitor class quality.
What kind of kind of devices can I use for my classes?
Even though our classes can be taken with a tablet or with a smart phone, we highly recommend the use of a computer or laptop with speakers and microphone to better interact with the instructor.
Are the instructors native speakers?
OH Spanish instructors are all native speakers. They are also well-educated individuals that are certified through our comprehensive training program.
How many students are in each session?
Most of our classes are conducted in a one-on-one format. However, if a student decides to share his/her sessions with somebody else, the platform used by OH Spanish allows them to have many participants in one class.
Can the format of the classes be adjusted to my needs?
If you are homeschooling your children, tutoring in a specific topic in Spanish, or if you already speak Spanish but you want to maintain your level through discussion, OH Spanish offers different options to better fit the needs of every student. Also, the classes have a flexible schedule, if previously arranged with the instructor.
Materials?
Beginner and intermediate students will be encouraged to purchase the code for Supersite Vistas for up to three years of access for $170.00 USD, ($4.72 USD per month) for the full program or one-year access for $125.00 USD for the first 10 lessons. This platform contains an online textbook, assignments, audio, video, reference tools, assessments, gradebook, teacher-student communication, etc. Materials for advanced students can be determined on an individual basis and may not be required.
Price?
Our standard 8-hour package is a very competitive $200.00 USD. Because we value loyalty, after the first eight sessions the price of the standard package drops to $176.00 USD.
If I stop taking classes with OH Spanish will I still have access to the Vistas program?
Yes, you will. Because Vista Higher Learning and OH Spanish are two different companies, both are administrated separately and they do not have any partner relationship.
